We had a nice time today at TGIS with everybody doing their part. Thank you Anly for that finding the Golden Mask.

Ronnie was on the PA doing an excellent job with Miki controlling the sounds.
Yuri helped lead the worship as we sang: You Are Good, My Life Is In You, I Love You Lord.
Mamiko and her triangulating number quiz for the Open Mike.

Kumi spoke about God's glory, the Ark of the Covenant and Dagon the fish god. Israel was only going through the motions on bring the Ark of the Covenant to help fight their battles, but the presence of the Lord was missing. We need to genuinely come before Him to give Him our glory. Riko was the beautiful interpreter.

We closed the meeting singing Glory Glory Lord singing in English, Hawaiian, and Samoan.
We had a good time of fellowship time and snacks.

Next week after the service we will have a movie night showing Amazing Grace. God bless you!

[ Icebreak ]

Today's icebreaker was Miho. She led us to charades. We transformed ourselves to monkey, hippo or butterfly.

That was nice exercise and we had a ball!

[ Worship ]

We sang 3 loverly worship-songs with video. We were actually with the Holy Spirit.

1. You Are My All In All

2. Here I Am To Worship

3. Everlasting God

[ Testimony ]

Sachiko shared her great experience. After she quit her former job, she studied at CNA, and there she met one woman who had serious disease. Soon she went into the hospis, not hospital. That meant she was close to death. Sachiko went to see her and shared her the Lord our God. Finally she saw and heard God, and she turned beautiful. 5 days later she passed away, but Sachiko felt no sorrow. She was satisfied because she could shared to

her friend the Love of God. Sachiko said, "I did all what I could do, and now I believe she is in Heaven."

[ Message ]

Today Wayne taught us the way of God as God's disciples. Our theme of this month is "discipleship." The word "disciple"

means "a person who follows the master" and "people who follows Jesus Christ and His teaching." We have the Ten

Commandment and today Jesus taught the great teaching according to the scripture from Matthew 6. All of us know that,

but sometimes it's difficult to us to follow the low. Why? Why we do wrong things sometimes? That's because our sinful nature. Jesus washed our sins compretely onthe cross but we still have sinfull nature. So we have to learn, train, pray and worship everyday and fast sometime to become true disciples of Jesus step by step, slowly but surely.

"That's the way just like the marshal arts," Wayne said. Yes, we need to follow to the Bible, and remember. set your mind in Heaven, put the evil things to death, be disciplin and over all these vitures put on love. Grace be with you.

We closed this service with the song " At the Cross "

[ Fellowship-time ]

Well, we had another great time at TGIS. It was a small crew as people were serving in Tohoku and the church had an annual gravesite memorial. Hope you can join us the next time. The Lord bless you!

Miho started off the Icebreak with a Treasure Hunt. People had to find these colored stones. It was a lot of fun and they got to keep the stones that they found.

Travis lead us into worship as we sang 3 glorious songs unto Jesus. He tried out this new system with the powerpoint. It worked!

Keiju was on the powerpoint.

Open Mike: WY told a strange story about breakfast.

The message was presented by Kumi. She talked when we have problems who do we turn to? John 4, a royal official from Capernaum seeks out Jesus to heal his dying son. The official wanted Jesus to physically go and touch the boy, but Jesus only said the word, "Your son will live!" When we have problems, expect and believe the Lord to answer in His way and His time, not ours. Believe!

Kumi did a little of her own interpreting.

TGIS welcomed 15 brothers and sisters this week at Shinjuku Shalom Church and were much blessed by worship, sharing, message and by presence of brothers and sisters from 6 countries!

Icebreak was led by Wayne and we had 3 groups that answered difficult questions. Sam from Philippines shared his gifted voice in worship. (with Mamiko on piano, and Keiju as a satellite singer, Travis helped pc audio and visual equipment) One of the songs was "How great is our God" by Chris Tomlin.

Our brother Emmanuel from Mexico shared a little about Tohoku where he did ministry with children. He reported that some of the people are getting saved and water baptized. Let us all keep on praying for Tohoku and people who serve there! Brother Charles Kaneshiro from Honolulu also shared that he was from Moanalua Missionary Church. His pastor Pastor Chinen sends his greetings.

Today's message titled "One day" by Wayne (with Kumi as an interpreter) was about on being God sent and looked at the story of Joseph. Looking back at your life, was it all planned out by God? We will not be allowed today if God did not allow. How can we live brand new day with Jesus? We can learn from Joseph"s word word of forgiveness "you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good". Once an arrogant teenager, who was sold as a slave and much suffered turned into a leader who saved life of his family who abandoned him. God was with him wherever Joseph was. God blessed everything he did. It is very interesting that God kept Joseph in No. 2 position all the time(not No. 1 but 2). God sent us ahead to save lives even your enemies. Let us pray for that ONE LIFE.

Here is a song I would like to share this week. Whatever others may say about your your name is graven on His hand, and written on His heart. "One in himself can not die".
