Dear all!!!

Welcome to this week's TGIS!

Mamiko-san started this meeting with an awesome ice break game called "Shabidi Shabidi Dubudu Dubudu"... I think i might have remembered this wrong but it is close enough. haha.
Anyways, Mamiko-san learned this game from some Filipino friends. Basically, the leader will do a pose while saying the chant "Shabidi Shabidi DubuDu Dubudu", and then after she says that, the next person has to copy her pose, and say the chant. After the chant, the next next person will copy the pose.
The leader will keep doing one pose per chant, so each pose is copied down the row.

Very interesting game!!

Worship (by Wayne)

3) As the Deer: Don Moen
4) Make Me A Servant: Maranatha Singers

Testimony
Robert shared about how sometimes we Christians may be stuck in a problem and all kind of doubts come up. At that time, we should point to our head and say, " TOO BIG", and point to our heart and say, "Too Small".    The point is to trust God with our heart.

Message (Pastor Elmer)
Pastor showed us some pictures from his trip to North Eastern Japan, where he helped out with the refugees and sharing the gospel with them.
The pictures revealed the devastation the earthquake had inflicted on the land.

The following pictures are of a building of the department of Strategic Disaster Prevention in one of the tsunami-hit area.  The story about this building is that, over 30 public servants were in this building, announcing the tsunami alert, but the tsunami was so high that it swept over the building.  The mayor and the rest of the public servants were on the root, holding on to the antenna. All the people were supporting the mayor and keeping him from being swept away.
In the end, only the mayor and 10 other public servants were left alive on the roof of this building.

Mark 13:1~2
"Look, Teacher! What massive stones! What magnificent buildings!"
"Do you see all these great buildings?" replied Jesus. " Not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down."

Earthquakes and natural disasters are the signs of hte end of the Age. However, exactly when the end will arrive, no one can know except for the Father.

Mark 13:32
"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."

Pastor shared how the Japanese people of the Tohoku region are very grateful of the voluneeters' service and are receptive to listening about the gospel. Their hearts have been broken and are willing the receive the love of Christ. Pastor shared that although most people in Japan are reluctant or hesistant to hear about the gospel, there is one region where you can go to and the people are willing to receive your love. Hallelujah, may God bless the people in Tohoku. Let's keep praying for them.

Thank you all for coming today!
We'll see you next week again!

God bless,
